A Tokyo court has charged nine counts of murder to a Japanese man accused of killing and cutting people he knows through social media.
Takahiro Sheraishi admitted that eight women and a man were dragged to his apartment, killed and stored in a refrigerator and boxes.
Takahiro Chirayashi is believed to have used Twitter to identify people who expressed dark thoughts.
The killings were revealed in October 2017 when the police were searching for a missing woman and then searched Takahiro Chirayashi's apartment.
The Japanese public prosecutor said Takahiro Shiraashi could be held responsible for his crimes after undergoing five months of psychological and mental tests.
